MY Life in 20 Years
Looking back on my life I have come to realize that it was pretty good. I am 33 years of age with 1 daughter who is 2 years old and hoping to have another girl in the next 2 years. I have a husband who works as an architect for a very successful company. I am a psychologist who specializes with teens. My job is very important to me because I feel that I can help make a difference in a person’s life. At first I was steering towards a career in interior design. But after thinking about it when I was in 8th. Grade I found that more kids need help with there life’s more than they need help with the color of there room. So I decided to buckle down and get ready for high school and college. At the beginning of my freshman year at High Tech High International I was still making the transition from a procrastinating 8th grader to a priority strait 9th. Grader. By the 2nd. Trimester I started getting my act together. Although my friends thought I was changing for the worst I knew that if I wanted to have a good career that meant that I had to be dedicated to my time to school work. The hardest thing for me in high school was making a choice between friends and enemies. My end of my senior year my life was decided. I went to Argosy University in Hawaii where I got my masters degree in psychology, Marriage& family counseling, and Organizational leadership. After college I moved to Florida and started a small business dealing with physiology. During that I was having trouble because my business was new and I didn’t have a lot of patients. Soon my business started to pick up after my office started getting bigger because more people would see it and wonder what it was so they would come in and I would give them a card and they just started to come in more often until I started to get regular patients. My husband was also a big help. He was the architect that designed my office in Miami. That’s how we met. Even though it wasn’t love at first sight we still we felt a connection the moment we met. At first we were just friends for about a year until we started dating and then 2 years later we were married. A few months after we got married we decided to go back to California to buy a house and add another office there. We bought a 3 story house in Newport Beach right next to Laguna Beach. After we got our business up and running we went back to Florida bought a new vacation house in Miami on the beach. Then we went back to new port to start a family and had Carmen Delaine Lane. Once we settled down I started to write and I am waiting for my first book to come out which will be titled “Moms can be hip to” which is about moms that take care of there self’s and have as much fun as there teens or kids.
